A 12-pound largemouth stands as the current lake record and 3-pound white bass are common. Nice hybrids too. Some locals believe the first 20-pound fish swims in this water. Crappie are a favorite and all three species of catfish are abundant. Stripers dominate the lake and receive nearly 75% of the angling pressure. Largemouth aren't whoppers here, but the numbers make up for it.
